A lifetime in magic
James’ lifelong passion for magic began at the age of 4, after having seeing a Burger King magic show with his grandmother, and has stayed with him in his travels, resulting in performances in locales as far reaching as Japan and Costa Rica (where he performed in Japanese and Spanish!) Taking a lifelong hobby and making it a profession, over the years Mr. Sanden has performed for a number of private clients, as well as multiple charities, school districts and corporations.
Not satisfied simply fooling his audience, James works to charm and entertain with skills beyond magic. Having studied theater in college, James developed his stand-up comedy skills performing on stage at clubs including Comedyworks and Loonees. In Chicago he studied improv at both Second City and IO, the nation’s two leading schools for improv. Having honed these skills in venues ranging from private homes to comedy clubs to the theater, James combines theater, stand-up comedy and improv into a fast-paced, funny and mystifying show focused on audience impact and participation. You can be certain his performance will be entertaining, magical and the highlight of your event!
